I've decided that every Monday I will post a quote of the week. I absolutely love quotes, so this seems appropriate. We're going to start out with the motto of Teach for America, a wonderful organization that puts teachers in low income schools either in the inner cities or in very rural areas (like Appalachia and the Mississippi Delta). This quote has become my mantra, as I refuse to give up on any of the students I encounter during my college career and when I have a classroom of my own:
"One day, all children in this nation will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education"
